About the role
Selfsia automates bookkeeping with AI, but accuracy requires deep domain expertise. As our in-house Certified Accountant you will validate our automation logic, keep our tax rules up to date, and act as the trusted voice behind our product recommendations.
What you will do
- Review and validate AI-generated tax reports and bookkeeping entries.
- Keep our rule engine up to date with changes in Latvian tax law (VAT, PIT, CIT, VSAOI).
- Provide guidance to the engineering team when building new compliance features.
- Handle escalated customer queries that require professional accounting judgment.
What we are looking for
- Active membership in the Latvian Association of Accountants (LaBG) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of practical bookkeeping/accounting experience in Latvia.
- Comfortable working with digital tools; prior SaaS experience is a plus.
- Fluent in Latvian; English is a bonus.
